Marion County, Indiana Section 8 Voucher Waiting List

The Indianapolis Housing Agency (IHA) Section 8 Housing Choice Voucher waiting list is currently closed. Applications were last accepted from July 26, 2021, until July 28, 2021. There is no notice of when this waiting list will reopen.

To apply during the opening period, applicants were required to complete the online application.

The maximum income limits for each household size were as follows:

• 1 Person $28,600 | 5 Persons $44,100
• 2 Persons $32,650 | 6 Persons $47,350
• 3 Persons $36,750 | 7 Persons $50,600
• 4 Persons $40,800 | 8 Persons $53,900

This waiting list had the following preferences:

• Resident of Marion County

Selected applicants were placed on the waiting list by random lottery, weighed by order of preferences.
