Reading, Pennsylvania Section 8 Voucher Waiting List

The Reading Housing Authority (RHA) Section 8 Housing Choice Voucher waiting list is currently closed. It was last open for eight days in July, 2019; and for 11 days in December, 2015. There is no notice of when this waiting list will reopen.

There were four ways to apply during the opening period:

1. Complete the online application.
2. Open and print the application online. The application was available in English, and Spanish.
3. Download and print the application online.
4. Call to request an application by mail. 

Once the application was completed, it must have been postmarked between July 23 and July 30; and mailed to the Reading Housing Authority.

This waiting list had the following preferences: Live, work or attend school in the City of Reading.

Selected applicants were placed on the waiting list by random lottery, by order of preferences.
