The Housing Authority of the Birmingham District (HABD) Mainstream Section 8 Housing Choice Voucher waiting list is closed.

The HABD last accepted applications for this waiting list from February 7, 2023, until February 13, 2023. There is no notice when this waiting list will reopen.

Please note: According to the HABD, "The Mainstream Voucher Program is for families that include a qualifying household member, who must be non-elderly, disabled. The head of household (head, co-head, or spouse) does not have to be the qualifying member for eligibility consideration."

500 applicants were placed on this waiting list by date and time the application was received, weighed by order of preferences.
